You can delete your Worthitt account and its personal data at any time.
Two ways, both equivalent.
From inside the app
Open Settings → Account.
Tap Delete account.
Type DELETE to confirm.
It takes effect immediately — you are signed out and cannot sign back in.
By email
If you can’t reach the app, email
[email protected] from the address
you signed up with and ask us to delete your account. We action it by hand,
normally within a few days.
What gets deleted
Your name, email address, username and display name.
Your saved favourites.
Your notifications.
Your sign-in — the account is disabled and can’t be used again.
What stays, and why
Your hitt/miss verdicts and any review text, anonymised.
Nothing links them to you any more — no name, no email, no account.
They stay because removing them would silently rewrite the crowd scores
other people rely on.
Photos you uploaded to a place, detached from your
account. The photo belongs to the venue page; your name comes off it.
Ask us at [email protected] if
you want a specific photo removed too, and we’ll take it down.
Your member number is retired, never reissued to anyone
else.
Retention
Personal data is removed at the moment of deletion, not on a schedule —
there is no waiting period and no recovery window, so this can’t be
undone. The anonymised verdict rows described above are kept indefinitely
and contain nothing that identifies you.
